SHARAT NEVATIA

I Sharat Nevatia, born and bought up in Mumbai completed my Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from College of Engineering, Pune in 1975.

After looking for various options joined a textile mill as an apprentice engineer. Worked there up to November 1982. During this period I was in-charge of electrical department & handled the great textile strike of 1982 with human touch.
After that joined an MNC Manufacturing Textile Machinery, pumps, & fire protection system, as sales cum service engineer. Worked there upto March 1987. Here achieved the biggest export sales of textile machinery in a particular year & went on for erection, commissioning of these machines in Africa giving more than desired results to buyer and received letter of appreciation with reward from them. Also in the domestic field increased the sales especially machinery and spare parts by 300%.
I left the organization to invent self and started my own venture by setting up a proprietary concern M/s. Shubh Udyog. In 1989 procured P.W.D. license to carry out electrical works in Maharashtra. Started electrical installation work on turnkey basis with industrial & residential building projects in and around Mumbai.
Further on, extended the activities to new developing field of interior electrical works for commercial complexex viz. Vedanta House of Sterlite Industries at Vile Parle, Atos Origin India Ltd. having seating capacity of 645 persons with data center, security system, fire protection, conference room. Various projects of BSES Ltd. like all Scada Centers, main and divisional offices mordernization located at Santacruz, Chembur, Andheri and Borivali.
In 2003, my son, Ankur Nevatia became my associate after completing his education.
Our current turnover is about Rs. 50 million.

I Ankur Nevatia, born and bought up in Mumbai after completing my graduation and MBA got associated with Shubh Udyog in 2003.

Thinking outside the box would mean cast off the atmosphere that envelops you, step out of the box and start to view things from a completely different perspective, completely unfiltered, open for suggestions, willing to empathize with other opinions but also ready to swim against the flood and to think what no one else has ever thought of..
Since 2003, I am in Procurement, Project Management, timely and safe execution of projects.
I was involved in many remarkable projects like Johnson & Johnson Ltd., Novartis Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., DSM Nutritional Pvt. Ltd., India Bulls Securities Ltd., etc.
